Banana Cake


Ingredients

  • All Purpose Flour – 150g
  • Powdered Sugar – 200g
  • Milk – 50ml
  • Butter – 50g
  • Bananas – 3
  • Vanilla Essence – 1 tsp
  • Vegetable Oil – 50ml
  • Baking Powder – 1 tsp
  • Salt – 1/4 tsp
  • Eggs – 3

How to Prepare

Total Preparation Time: 20-30 minutes

  1. Take a cake plate, grise it with butter and keep aside
  2. Now take cooker, add 500g sand and place metal vessel stand at the center and place a cooker plate/any plate over it
  3. Close the cooker lid and heat it for 20 minutes
  4. In the mean time, take a bowl, add banana and mash till they become guey and keep aside
  5. Then powdered sugar and butter, use stand mixer and mix well for 10 minutes in low to medium speed
  6. After add eggs one by one, mix it well in medium speed for 20 to 30 minutes till it become smooth white paste
  7. Then add baking powder and mix it well for 5 minutes
  8. Take a bowl and flour sifting wire and sift the all flour and add and mix it well for 20 minutes till it become smooth ribbony batter
  9. Then add banana, vanilla essance, vegeable oil, salt and mix it well for 5 minutes till it combined well
  10. Take the grised cake plate, cover the bottom with a cake paper then fill 3/4 of the plate with cake batter and tap them to settle thoroughly
  11. Now open the cooker lid and place the cake plate over the cooker plate, close the lid
  12. And allow them for 50-60 minutes in medium flame, if you use oven, bake the cake for 45 minutes in 350 Fahrenheit
  13. After that open the lid and check the cake with toothpick or a thin rode, if cake is sticky and close the bake for another 5 minutes
  14. Turn off the flame, open lid and trasfer the cake on the wide plate
  15. And for frosting, take a bowl, add 250g butter, 250g fresh cheese, 1 pasted banana and 1 tsp vanilla essence, 500g powdered sugar and mix them well for 20minutes by stand mixer till it become thick paste
  16. Use a plate knife, and apply the frosting at all over the cake
  17. You can cut the cake horizontally to 3 layers and apply frosting on each layer as you wish
  18. Finally, the delicious Banana cake is ready to serve

Vanilla Cake


Ingredients

  • All Purpose Flour – 250g
  • Powdered Sugar – 250g
  • Milk – 125ml
  • Butter – 125g
  • Vanilla Essence – 1 tsp
  • Vegetable Oil – 50ml
  • Baking Soda – 1 tsp
  • Baking Powder – 1/4 tsp
  • Salt – 1/4 tsp
  • Eggs – 1

How to Prepare

Total Preparation Time: 20-30 minutes

  1. Take a cake plate, grise it with butter and keep aside
  2. Now take cooker, add 500g sand and place metal vessel stand at the center and place a cooker plate/any plate over it

  4. In the mean time, take a bowl, add milk and butter mix it well after that add sugar, use stand mixer and mix well it till become pure white ribbon consistency, it may take 20-30 minutes
  5. After that take a flour wire, sift and add all purpose flour, then add baking soda, baking powder, vanilla essance, vegeable oil, fresh eggs, salt and mix it well till it become smooth batter
  6. Take the grised cake plate, fill 3/4 of the plate with cake batter and make them to settle thoroughly
  7. Now open the cooker lid and place the cake plate over the cooker plate, close the lid
  8. And allow them for 45-50 minutes in medium flame, if you use oven, bake the cake for 30 minutes in 350 Fahrenheit
  9. After that open the lid and check the cake with toothpick or a thin rode, if cake is sticky and close the bake for another 5 minutes
  10. Turn off the flame, open lid and trasfer the cake on the wide plate
  11. And for frosting, take a bowl, add 250g butter, 250g fresh cheese, 1 tsp vanilla essence, 500g powdered sugar, 125ml milk and mix them well for 20minutes by stand mixer till it become thick paste
  12. Use a plate knife, and apply the frosting at all over the cake, you can decorate the cake by chocolate frost
  13. You can cut the cake horizontally to 3 layers and apply frosting on each layer as you wish
  14. Finally, the delicious Vanilla cake is ready to serve

Chocolate Cake


Ingredients

  • All Purpose Flour – 250g
  • Powdered Sugar – 250g
  • Cocoa Powder – 125g
  • Buttermilk – 125ml
  • Water – 125ml
  • Vanilla Essence – 3/4 tsp
  • Vegetable Oil – 50ml
  • Baking Soda – 1 tsp
  • Baking Powder – 1/4 tsp
  • Salt – 1/4 tsp
  • Eggs – 2
  • Butter – Required

How to Prepare

Total Preparation Time: 20-30 minutes

  1. Take a cake plate, grise it with butter then add coca powder and make them to cover the plate completely, finally tap out the excess powder and keep aside
  2. Now take cooker, add 500g sand and place metal vessel stand at the center and place a cooker plate/any plate over it
  3. Close the cooker lid and heat it for 20 minutes
  4. In the mean time, take a bowl, add all purpose flour make sure flour is sifted finely, then add sugar, cocoa powder, buttermilk and mix them well, you can stand mixer as you need
  5. After that add baking soda, baking powder, vanilla essance, vegeable oil, fresh eggs, salt and mix it well
  6. Boil the water for 5 minutes in low flame and add it into the cake mixer and mix it well for 15 minutes till it become smooth batter
  7. Take the grised cake plate, fill 3/4 of the plate with cake batter and make them to settle thoroughly
  8. Now open the cooker lid and plate cake plate over the cooker plate, close the lid
  9. And allow them for 45-50 minutes in medium flame, if you use oven, bake the cake for 30 minutes in 320 Fahrenheit
  10. After that open the lid and check the cake with toothpick or a thin rode, if cake is sticky and close the bake for another 5 minutes
  11. Turn off the flame, open lid and trasfer the cake on the wide plate
  12. And for frosting, take a bowl, add 250g butter, 250g fresh cheese, 125g cocoapowder, 1 tsp vanilla essence, 500g powdered sugar, 75ml milk and mix them well for 20minutes by stand mixer till it become thick paste
  13. Use a plate knife, and apply the frosting at all over the cake
  14. You can cut the cake horizontally to 3 layers and apply frosting on each layer as you wish
  15. Finally, the delicious Chocolate cake is ready to serve

Corianderseed Chutney – கொத்தமல்லி விதை சட்னி


Ingredients

  • Coriander seeds – 200g
  • Urad dal – 1 tbsp
  • Fenugreek seeds – 1/2 tsp
  • Green Chillies – 2
  • Garlic clove – 2
  • Small onion – 1
  • Ginger – 1/8
  • Tamarind – A tiny ball
  • Coconut – 1/6
  • Mustard seeds – 1/2 tsp
  • Cumin seeds – 1/2 tsp
  • Asafoetida – A pinch
  • Curry leaves – Required
  • Oil – Required

How to Prepare

Total Preparation Time: 10-20 minutes

  1. Roast coriander seeds, fenugreek seeds without oil and make it cool, grind well then keep aside
  2. Take a bowl, add 100ml water and then dissolve the tamarind ball by your hand, filter it, save the syrup and keep aside
  3. After that grind coconut, grate ginger, chop garlic and keep aside
  4. Take a pan, add some oil, after oil heats up, add cumin seeds
  5. Once seeds splutter, add urad dal then add 3 red chillies
  6. After dals become golden, add garlic, ginger, asafoetida, curry leaves
  7. Then add grinned coriander seeds and saute for 2 minutes
  8. Then add grated coconut and fry them for another 2 minutes
  9. Turn off the flame and allow them to cool for 5 minutes
  10. After cool down completely, add them into a blender
  11. Grind them well for 1 minutes in high speed after that add tamarind juice, salt
  12. Blend them after a minute till it becomes paste then add another 100ml water
  13. Blend them for a minute till it reach the think water consistency, after that transferred them into a bowl and keep aside
  14. For seasoning, take a pan, heat with 2 tsp oil then add mustard seeds
  15. Once mustard starts crackling, add 1/2 tsp urad dal, red chillies and curry leaves
  16. Fry it for a minute, then add this temepering into the prepared coriander chutney
  17. Now the tendering Coriander seeds Chutney is ready for serve

Goat Liver Fry – ஆடு கல்லீரல் / ஈரல் வறுவல்


Ingredients

  • Goat Liver – 500g
  • Black pepper – 1 tsp
  • Fennel seeds – 1/2 tsp
  • Cumin seeds – 1/2 tsp
  • Small onions – 5
  • Bay leaf – 1
  • Cinnamon stick – 2
  • Cloves – 3
  • Ginger – 1
  • Garlic cloves – 6
  • Red chilli powder – 1 tsp
  • Turmeric powder – 1/4 tsp
  • Coriander powder – 2 tsp

  1. Wash and cut livers like small cubes and keep aside

Goat Brain Fry – ஆட்டு (ஆடு) மூளை வறுவல்


Ingredients

  • Goat brains – 2
  • Fennel seeds – 1/2 tsp
  • Cumin seeds – 1/2 tsp
  • Small onions – 15
  • Ginger – 1
  • Garlic cloves – 6
  • Red chilli powder – 1 tsp
  • Turmeric powder – 1/4 tsp
  • Coriander powder – 2 tsp

Papaya Halwa – பப்பாளி அல்வா


Ingredients

  • Papaya – 1
  • Sugar – 400g
  • Cardamom – 6
  • Cashew nuts – 30
  • Raisins – 8
  • Ghee – Required

How to Prepare

Total Preparation Time: 20-30 minutes

  1. Cut the Papaya, remove seeds, pith, remove skin and grind it a thick smooth paste and add some water beat like a thin juice, filter it and keep aside
  2. Heat a pan with ghee, fry cashew nuts, raisins, cardamom for 2 minutes and keep aside
  3. And heat a heavy bottomed pan with 2 tbsp ghee and then papaya water
  4. And stir it continusly till it become thinker it may takes 20 to 30 minutes and then add sugar and mix it well
  5. After that add ghee fried raisin, cashew nuts, cardamom and mix it well for 3 minutes
  6. Then add 2 tbsp ghee and mix it well and stir till the ghee comes from the halwa this may take 30 minutes
  7. Stir it very well to avoid burnt bottom and once it become thicker, thick gooey, non sticky and this is the perfect halwa consistency
  8. Turn off the flame and transfer it into a bowl
  9. Now the tasty Papaya halwa is ready for serve

Moongdal Halwa


Ingredients

  • Ragi flour – 250g
  • Milk – 500ml
  • Jaggery – 500g
  • Cardamom – 6
  • Cashew nuts – 30
  • Raisins – 8
  • Ghee – Required

  1. Wash and soak monng dal for 6 hours and grind them with 250ml water like a thin liquid and keep aside
  2. Heat a bowl add 300ml water and add jaggery, dissolve like syrup and filter it and keep aside

Quail Fry – காடை வறுவல்


Ingredients

  • Quail medium sized – 500g
  • Black pepper – 1 tsp
  • Fennel seeds – 1/2 tsp
  • Cumin seeds – 1/2 tsp

Ingredients

  • Goat Intestine – 500g
  • Black pepper – 1 tsp

Mango Halwa – மாம்பழம் அல்வா


Ingredients

  • Sweet Mangoes – 2
  • Milk – 250ml
  • Sugar – 200g
  • Cardamom – 6
  • Cashew nuts – 30
  • Raisins – 8
  • Ghee – Required

  1. Cut the mangoes, remove seeds, skin then grind it like a thick smooth paste and keep aside
  2. Heat a pan with ghee, fry cashew nuts, raisins, cardamom for 2 minutes and keep aside

  7. Stir continuously to avoid burnt at bottom, once it become thicker, gooey and non sticky means the recipe is in perfect halwa consistency
  8. Now, turn off the flame then transfer it into a bowl
  9. Finally the tasty Mango halwa is ready for serve

Beetroot Halwa – பீட்ரூட் அல்வா


Ingredients

  • Beetroots – 3
  • Maida – 100g
  • Milk – 1 liter
  • Cardamom – 6
  • Cashew nuts – 30
  • Raisins – 8
  • Sugar – Required
  • Ghee – Required
  • Salt – Required

How to Prepare

Total Preparation Time: 20-30 minutes

  1. Wash Beetroot and grate them finely and keep aside.
  2. Heat a pan with ghee, fry cashew nuts, raisins, cardamom for 2 minutes and keep aside

  10. Stir it very well to avoid burnt bottom and once it become thicker, guey, non sticky and this is the perfect halwa consistency
  11. Turn off the flame and transfer it into a bowl
  12. Now the tasty Beetroot halwa is ready for serve
